Hello and welcome to our site! We are located in the beautiful Mohawk Valley of central New York where our focus is on winning type with that special look at me!! purrsonality.
This is a collaborative effort in our household. My husband, Mike, is just as involved as I am. Our son helps socialize the kittens and greatly enjoys playing with them every day. Cats and kids Can and DO get along! :) He is my show buddy and can often be seen carrying HIS kitties to the ring, or perhaps relaxing at the benching table playing a game.
I was introduced to Exotics in 1987 when I was given a retired silver classic tabby as a gift. I had never seen a classic tabby before. Much less one with such huge eyes and such a sweet personality. Instantly I was hooked. Life has a way of twisting and turning however. It wasn't until March of 2005 that I was finally able to pursue that love and began breeding Exotics of my own.
Then in the early spring of 2008 we decided to add Ocicats to our home. I love the wild spotted look without the wild personality or potential future legal issues a wild hybrid can sometimes bring. Being 100% domestic cat, ( in spite of the name there is no, and never was, any Ocelot in them! :) there are no such worries with an Ocicat. They are loyal, loving, and SUPER with kids and other pets. PURRFECT for our home!
Our cats are very much part of our family. Kittens are raised underfoot and along side our son. They are handled from birth and are well socialized. Each one is loved and missed when it leaves for his or her new home. While we may enjoy the competition of showing, its the cats themselves that are the real prizes!
Welcome to our site! We hope you return often and please, don't forget to sign our guest book!
We have always loved the look of wild cats... but didnt want to be involved with breeding hybrids. We have found the perfect solution The Ocicat, a breed selectively bred to produce the wild spotted pattern we love using only domestic cat breeds such as the Abysinian, Siamese, and American Short Hair. This breed has all of the wild looks anyone could want, but with a gentle, and more importantly, stable, temperment. With the help of breeders Anne Mc Cullough of Catiators, Daedra Marshal of Dream Song, and Sonja Moscoffian of Blackwater, we have brought our first kittens home to show and have found we really love this breed! We plan on working with the silver class and possibly Tawneys..tho they are all beautiful and who knows what the future will bring :)
Please take a peek at http://www.ocicatinfo.com/ to learn more info on this beautiful breed!

For busy people who like the look of the Persian but don't have time for the demands of daily grooming, the Exotic is a perfect choice. They are bred to meet the Persian standard in every way with one special exception; their coat is thick, dense, plush, and short. The Exotic coat is unique to the breed and gives them a soft, rounded teddy bear look. They require much less combing than a Persian. Because of the easy maintenance of this special breed, Exotics are referred to as the lazy man's Persian, or the Teddy Bear Cat.
Our Exotics are very much Persian like in their personality and temperament-- sweet and loving yet playful! Both male and female kittens are equally affectionate. They follow us around the house and are always curious as to what we are doing. They have a quiet, sweet, endearing nature and are loyal companions. The easy going nature of the Exotic allows it to fit into your home at any age. They are a wonderful addition to any cat loving family!
As with all cats, spaying or neutering pet animals at an early age will help avoid any problems associated with spraying or other adult urges.
